About

About Us
John Penfold & Daughter is a dedicated family run business that has been providing used Pallets and offering delivery and collection services across Dorset, Devon, Somerset, Hampshire, and Wiltshire.

Our range includes used Wooden Pallets, Pallet Collars, and Plastic Pallets - offering a cost-effective alternative without compromising on quality compared to new pallets.

We also offer a convenient solution for those with surplus pallets by purchasing them from you. If you're unable to transport them to us, rest assured, we can arrange collection. Details can be found under the Pallet Collections tab.

Our commitment to sustainability shines through in our recycling and reconditioning processes, ensuring every pallet meets stringent quality standards for safe reuse. Any pallet beyond repair is disassembled, and its components are repurposed to minimize waste.

Located just 4 miles west of Dorchester on the A35 Bridport Road, our yard is a hub where thousands of pallets are readily available. Whether you require pallets for light or heavy haulage, we have a solution to fit your needs.

History of John Penfold & Daughter

Founded by John Penfold over 35 years ago originally supplying polythene, paper and obsolete bags across the UK. When demands changed, the family made the decision to solely supply pallets.

John Penfold with the help of his daughter Mandy and her husband John, grew the family run business into a well-known pallet merchant serving the South-West of England.

The business is now into its third generation being run by John Penfold’s grandson, Richard with the help of his father, John Read who has been the back bone of the company for many years.
